House of Cassidy - One Year In The Making
It’s been a full year since we decided to turn our love of scented candles into a business. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come from taking our first step, but as time has gone on, we’ve refined our craft, developing beautiful new scents, and growing our collection. Our primary motivation was how much we enjoyed getting creative finding beautiful candles to treat our friends and family for birthdays and special life moments.
During this time, we discovered a fascination with scent, and its endless possibilities, finding inspiration from perfumes, and seeking the finest ingredients. As we created combinations that were different from what we were finding on the high street, our first House of Cassidy candle collection slowly came to life. Family members and friends were delighted with these creations, and wanted more. As demand among our social circle grew, we decided to branch out, and start House of Cassidy as a business.
From then on, we’ve been perfecting our vegan soy wax formula, and the look and feel of the candle vessels has been evolving. It’s our passion for the craft that’s sustained us through all the challenges and triumphs that comes with growing a business - and it’s the passion for what we do that makes it all worthwhile.
Our Timeline - How We Became
2024
After developing our first selection of scents, we released our first House of Cassidy candles in simple, white ceramic jars.
In springtime, we set up stands at local wedding fairs, which led to partnerships with wedding planners. Our candles brought a peaceful glow and a touch of class to wedding receptions across the area.
Throughout summer and autumn, we worked hard on perfecting our soy wax formula, and developing unique scents to delight future customers.
In Winter 2024, we launched our first collection of three reed diffusers, just in time for Christmas.
Having launched our two seasonal scents, with vessels in festive colours, we held an outdoor pop-up event in Liverpool, so people could experience our scents first-hand.
2025
In the meantime, we were working behind the scenes to bring you House of Love, our brand new Valentines collection of candles and reed diffusers, designed to help you create beautiful of peace, connection and quality time.
We are continuing to develop our collections, connect with more customers, and expand our offerings, and are so excited for what the next part of our journey will bring.
